Independence day is all about Philippines standing with dignity and freedom, not just for the Filipinos but the whole country itself. It is one of the most significant times in the Philippine history for finally Filipinos reigned against foreigner’s hands. Through this, Filipinos were able to speak up and showcase how mighty Filipinos are.

Before this, Filipinos remained to be slaves and unimportant for more than 300 years just on Spaniards ruling, plus add the different countries who had also invaded the Philippines. Until June 12, 1898 came and Philippines started to live with freedom.
Lifestyles changed, as Filipinos start to live how Filipinos should.

Big changed has been done by our great ancestors. Without them, Philippines wouldn’t be able to stand alone. Adoring them is just right. But we shouldn’t come to a point, that we’ll abuse this independence. Instead, we should all work hand in hand to keep this independence living. To be able to reign this dignity and freedom to future Filipinos.

Now, we are living independently, yet we still cannot avoid to lean on other country’s support. We should continuously fight and the power should remain to the Filipinos. All of this sums up that Filipinos should not be underestimated, but to be greatly respected.
