PREPARATION TO AVOID EXTINCTION

We all know that an earthquake is unpredictable. Thus, if this disaster may happen, the tragedy would also be unpredictable. An earthquake might either be weak to the point that you won’t feel any movement or can be strong that can easily bury the lives of people. But one thing is surely predictable, if you are prepared, the lesser would be the effect.

With this happening, the government continuously conducts simultaneous earthquake drills which aim to make people aware of what to do in times of earthquakes. For me, there is nothing wrong being prepared for it won’t affect our lives badly for we are greatly benefited. Regulating simultaneous earthquake drills would really create impacts on people’s lives. I believe simple preparations would be a big helping hands in times of emergencies.

Simultaneous earthquake drills should be taken seriously. As per observations, people or specifically students participating mostly take this activity as a joke. I mostly hear, “If earthquake will come do you even have time to do all this?”. Proper instructions or actions are being misunderstood for they are not focused. Despite the number of people facilitating, sometimes they aren’t still enough.

Doing earthquake drills and participating in this activity will always be an advantage. It wouldn’t only a way for people to be informed on this happening, but it would also serve as a platform for people to know what’s happening nowadays and in real life. Conducting drills may seem to be simple, but they can carry our lives to some unexpected instances. Anything might happen in any second. What to continue living? Then start preparing!
