Dear Mr. President,

            A Blessed Day!

With the country’s stand today, I would like to express my thoughts with your administration through this letter.

It can be seen how much changed happened with your concern on drugs. Thousands of Filipinos Changed and drive away their selves from vices. I respect you aim to make our country drug-free, but as per observations, I have seen some reports wherein people are arrested for such doings without being proven, and the worst part is that this activity sometimes ends with the act of killing. It is hard to see people losing their lives, when in fact they are not even aware of the reason behind these killings. I appreciate our policemen doing their jobs, and I can understand, putting this aim in actions requires self-defense which may lead to loss of lives, but for me, the number of killings grows too fast.

Comparing hoe Filipinos lived their lives before, change can really be seen. With all the implementations your administration had implemented, they had all created an impact to every Filipino. These somehow have helped Filipinos in brightening their lives. But in reality, a number of Filipinos are still in poverty and way below the poverty line.

I admire the way you had implemented free education for the youth for it will be a really big help on their future, especially for the less fortunate ones. Your consideration of the health of your people is also appreciated, but a concern of mine is that not all the people surrounding are benefited. Around the Philippines, a few places are still not being reached by public hospitals. I would also like to take this opportunity to raise up the salaries of your public workers, especially for teachers. It has been proven that earnings of you public servants are mostly not enough to sustain the needs of their family and their selves.

It has also come to my attention those mean jokes poured out to the public. Jokes can be funny but we all know that in everything there is what we call “limitations.”

With all of these, I would like to express my support to you in making our nation a better one. May you be continuously filled with wisdom in running our country.

Sincerely Yours,
Khaerylle Athena Shang U. Que
